The following documentation is provided as a generic guide to Curriculum Management functionality. Your institution's instance may or may not have the same configuration, including but not limited to labels, navigation order, etc. For more information on your institution's specific configuration, please contact your system administrator.
Overview
Users should propose a new course, program, etc. be created when an existing course or program does not already exist or the new item differs enough from the existing curricula that it cannot be modified. For information on proposing a modification to an existing course, program, etc. please see Propose an Item Modification.
Propose a New Item
How do I create a new course proposal?
- Click Courses in the navigation panel.
- Click New Course in the top, right corner.
- Fill out all required fields and all optional fields, as needed.
- Please note: Proposals will be automatically saved as a draft as they are created and modified.
- Click Leave Edit Mode in the right panel to view the course proposal.
- Click Submit for Approval to submit the item to workflow.
- Please note: Proposals not yet submitted to workflow can be found in the Proposals tab in the left navigation panel.
How do I create a new program proposal?
- Click Programs in the navigation panel.
- Click New Program in the top, right corner.
- Fill out all required fields and all optional fields, as needed.
- Please note: Proposals will be automatically saved as a draft as they are created and modified.
