Overview
Who can leave comments?
All users in your instance will be able to leave comments on any proposal including drafts and proposals currently in review. Comments will remain on the approved proposal when the record becomes active.
What are conversations?
Conversations are a group of comments between multiple users. When a comment or reply to a comment is left on a conversation, an email will be sent to all participants.

Leaving a Comment
How do I leave a comment?
- From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- Click in the first box to select one or multiple recipient(s).
- Start typing in the Select User field to narrow down results.
- To remove a user, click the trash icon in line with their name.
- Click the second box to leave a comment.
- Type your comment.
- Click Comment to send your comment.
- Click Cancel to return to the previous screen.
How do I respond to a comment?
- From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- Click on the conversation you would like to reply to.
- Type your comment.
- Click Reply to send your comment.
- Click Cancel to return to the previous screen.
How do I know if somebody left me a comment?

You will receive an email notifying you of new comments.

From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.

Conversation with new comments for you will include a green dot.
How do I add another user to my conversation?
- From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- Select the conversation you would like to add a user to.
- Type your comment,
- Select Add someone to the conversation.
- Click in the first box to select one or multiple recipient(s).
- Start typing in the Select User field to narrow down results.
- Select the desired user and repeat to select additional users.
- To remove a user, click the trash icon in line with their name.
- Click the second box to leave a comment.
- Type your comment.
- Click Comment to send your comment.
- Click Cancel to return to the previous screen.
Reading Comments
How do I know who is in a conversation?

From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.

How do I know who wrote a comment?
- From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- Select the conversation you would like to read.
- Each comment will be display the name of the user that left it.
How do I know how many comments are on my proposal?
- From within a proposal, look at the total number of comments next to the Comment button in the right panel.
- From within a proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- Look at the total number of comments next to each conversation.
How do I read the comments on an approved proposal?
- From within an active record, click View Original Proposal in the right panel.
- From within the proposal, click Comments in the right panel.
- View the entire comment history.
