Can forms be used for different purposes than their designated item type?

While Curriculum Management forms are highly configurable, they are intentionally designed to support the specific use cases needed for each of the item types. Because of this, it is not recommended (except in special circumstances as guided by the Kuali support and customer success teams) that the forms be used outside their designated use cases.
