The Action List is a collection of all proposals that are waiting on you to take an action - either to approve or acknowledge them. The Action List is personalized so that it shows only the proposals that are relevant to you.
The first time you access the User Dashboard (as of 1/25/22), you will see a pop-up window directing you to the link in the navigation, where you can view your Action List, as this has recently moved.

After you have acknowledged the recent move, you can see the Action List in the navigation as well as on the right side of your dashboard.
Search Action List
When you view the Action List, there will be several columns presented to you to give you information about the proposal you need to take action on:
- Code
- If the respective form contains a field for Subject Code (
subjectCode) and Number (number), then the Code field will be populated by a combination of these items. For example, a course that contains a subject code of 'CHEM' with the number '101' will be displayed as CHEM101. If the form does not contain Subject Code and Number, then Code will display the value entered into a specific Code (code)field on the form. - Title
- The value entered into the Title field (
title). - Description
- The value entered into the Description field (
description). - Type
- Created On
- The date the proposal was created.
- Action Requested
- What is being requested from you - either an approval or an acknowledgement.
The Action List contains a search bar at the top of the page that you can use to quickly narrow down results if you have a large number of items to work on. The search results will update automatically as you type, based on the title or code of the proposal.
Much like the Search Pages, you can also click on the headings of the columns to change the sort order from ascending or descending.

Items on your Action List will be removed when any of the following occurs:
- You approve or acknowledge the item
- The step requesting your action is skipped
- The proposal is withdrawn
