When searching through Proposals, the search results will return the keywords of your search if it calls within the title, code, or description of the proposal.
That may mean that you see items being returned in your results that aren't exactly what you expected - for example, if I search within proposals for any that use the prefix 'ANTH':
This returned a course with the prefix of ANTH, and it returned COMMS 101. Within COMMS 101, the description contains the text of 'ANTH 4':
Since COMMS 101 contains 'ANTH 4' in the description, it is returned when you use they keyword 'ANTH' in the search.
If the reverse is not true - so if ANTH 4 does not contain any information about COMMS 101, then ANTH 4 would not be returned when you search for COMMS 101:
