Can I use the API to bring information into Kuali Build?

Yes! Kuali rest APIs allow you to connect to external data sources - which would allow you to reference this data from Kuali Build. 

You can reference the available end points for using the API available for Classic Kuali Student within the CM and Catalog tabs of https://developers.kuali.co
