Integration with Active Directory

Hi we are in the process of planning for our Catalog deployment, and I wanted to check in with the user community to see if anyone has established an integration of Kuali CMS with your active directory. My hope is to be able to link Kuali CMS so that we can extract contact information for certain fields dynamically. I am wondering if anyone has this interface in place. If so, what API are being leveraged to accomplish this?
