If this occurs, start by confirming the ID of the item you are viewing in the URL. When you view the content within catalog, and you view the content item - the URL will look like this: https://institution.kuali.co/catalog/#/catalogs/65c42037c3779c001d2c17b9/items/65c420371cf4cd001c1a20ea), and what appears in the catalog preview might look like this: https://institution.kuali.co/catalog/student#/content/63e68fdc80fc26001c83e908.
The ID for each item i the very last item - note that these two ids are not a match (65c420371cf4cd001c1a20ea vs 63e68fdc80fc26001c83e908). This sometimes occurs when a catalog is duplicated - the content set this item was included within did not update to the new item and is still pointing to the previous one version.
This can be corrected with the following steps:
- Create a new content set and add in the items that should be displayed.
- Delete the old content set.
- Go to the navigation, and remove the old content set.
- Add the newly created content set to the navigation.
Once the content set has been recreated and readded to the navigation, it will point to the correct information going forward.
