Can we disable the Addenda entirely on the Catalog?

The addenda within catalog can not be disabled - any new versions of items or revisions will be displayed with the Addenda so long as the catalog activation date on the item occurs between the Start and End Date of the selected catalog.

Items that are modified via Admin Edits will not appear on the Catalog as Addenda.
